of King's Post

Cottage, late C17 or early C18. Brick and rendered cob with thatched roof,
half-hipped to the right. Brick end stack left. One and a half storeys single
window range. 2-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, that to the
ground floor right is contained within an earlier heavy timber-surround.
Central original plank door in heavy timber-frame.

Internal features (RCHM): stop-chamfered ceiling beam and chamfered timber
fireplace bressummer with run-out stops. (RCHM, Dorset, vol. V, p.14, no.25.)
