Cottage, C18 possibly with earlier core. Brick with thatched roof and end
brick copings. End brick stacks. Moulded brick string course. One and a
half storeys, 3 window range. Timber casements with glazing bars, of 2-lights
above and 3 lights below. Ribbed door to right of centre. Lozenge shaped
panels of blue bricks below dormer window cills. (RCHM, Dorset, vol.V, p.13,
no. 9.)
