LONG CRICHEL

ST 91 SE VILLAGE STREET (North side)

Attached school and schoolhouse, dated 1833, possibly rebuilt. Flemish
bond brickwork with some ashlar dressings. Slate roofs. Brick stack to
right gable of house and paired, diagonally set brick stacks at inter-
section of ranges. House 2 storeys, 2 bay. 2-light casements with glazing
bars. Part-glazed door in gabled porch with 4-centred arch. Schoolroom of
one storey with 1 and 3-light mullioned windows with square heads. Ashlar
bell-cote left. Plank door in gable porch to left. Datestone over.
