Detached house, C17 origin with considerable extensions and alterations of
the C18, C19 and C20. Colourwashed brick walls with tiled roof and brick
stacks. 2 storeys and attics. South-west elevation of 3 bays. 3-light
casements with horizontal glazing bars, that to the upper floor right a
replacement. Central door with lattice porch.

Internal features (RCHM): some fielded panelling of 2 heights, partly reset;
staircase with square newel posts, turned balusters, moulded handrails and
scrolled step spandrels. (RCHM, Dorset, vol V, p 97/8, no. 13).
