SU 01 SE EDMONDSHAM -

2/18 Westworth Farm House

GV II

Farmhouse. "New built 1816" (R.C.H.M.). Brick walls, thatched roof hipped at
left end. One brick stack at right end and one near left end. 2 storeys. 2
added porches; upper walls of glazed timber, on brick base, with slate gabled
roofs with bargeboards. Part glazed doors. Blocked door at right end, where
a lean-to demolished. Ground floor has 4 windows under segmental arches -
boarded up. First floor has 5 casements with glazing bars. Added parallel
range at rear, with slate roof, forming double pile plan (R.C.H.M. Monument 11
Dorset Vol V).
