Detached house - former farmhouse, part used as tea room. C17. Timber framed
walls, plastered externally; thatched roof, brick stack left of centre. Lobby
entrance plan. One storey and attic. C20 oak ledged door in glazed porch.
Ground floor has three C20 casements with lead lights. One small casement
with glazing bars under eaves. Attic has one dormer with C20 casements with
lead lights. Lean-to at rear under thatched catslide roof. Internally,
timber frame appears intact, including deep chamfered and stopped beams, and
roof structure. Heavy plank and muntin partition on ground floor. Some
timber framed partitions. Large open fireplace on ground floor with curved
timber lintel. On first floor, a small cupboard inserted in side of chimney.
