Detached cottage, probably early C19. Pebble dashed, probably over cob on a
brick plinth, with brick dressings. Thatched roof, half hipped to the right
with brick stack left. One and a half storeys, 2 window range. 2-light
timber casements with horizontal glazing bars. Central plank door. One of
the very few remaining unspoilt cottages which arose as a result of
encroachment on common land in the C18 and C19.
