Farmhouse. Early C18 origin, enlarged at north end 1773 (date in dark brick
on end gable wall). Brick walls, tiled roof - half hipped, with ornamental
bargeboard on projecting wing at right end. One brick stack at left end, one
near right end. 2 storeys and attic. Plat band at first floor level. Added
brick porch with hipped roof with deep eaves carried on ornamental timber
work. Part glazed panelled door. Ground floor has 2 casements with lead
lights under segmental arches. First floor has 3 casements with lead lights.
Projecting wing at right end has, on first floor, an oriel window with hipped
roof carried on shaped brackets. Similar brackets to cill. Casements with
lead lights. Single storey addition at left end, with hipped roof.
Internally, some deeply chamfered and stopped ceiling beams. Evidence of
large fireplace, now built up. Some casements retain early scrolled
fasteners. Brick boundary wall to road, with remains of shaped coping.
