House, - former vicarage. Main range c1820, small block at rear, possibly
C18, larger rear wing c1850. Brick walls, - front wall of main range
plastered. Hipped slate roof to main range, tiled roofs to rear wings.
Plastered stacks each end of main range, and one at rear. 2 storeys. In main
range, pair of part glazed doors in open portico with flat roof and simple
cornice, on Tuscan columns. Ground floor has 4 sashes with glazing bars.
First floor has 5 similar sashes, with iron balconettes. Lower, attached
outbuildings on left, in matching construction. Internally, some original
cornices, panelled doors, and fireplaces. Under repair following fire damage
at time of survey (1986). (R.C.H.M. Monument 5. Dorset Vol V).
