House, now 2 dwellings. Early C18with C20 additions and alterations. Pebble-
dashed cob, thatched roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays with added rear outshuts.
C20 doors and gabled glazed porches at left end (to No 47) and between right-
hand bays (to No 49). Small, 2-light casement windows, of 6 panes with
tile sills and lintels to ground floor, of 4 panes with timber sills and
lintels above. Butress to right of bay 1. Oversailing eaves to lipped
roof. Rendered ridge stack to right of bay 1 and external brick stack with
tabled top at right end. Single-storey, flat roofed addition set back on
left not of special interest. Interior: No 47 has old board cupboard doors,
stair accommodated in bulge in rear wall and formerly lit at top by tine
square window; crude purlins. No 49 has inglenook with bressummer.
