Cottage, formerly two. C17, C18, with C20 restoration. Walls of rubble
ironstone with large quoins, high plinth (cemented), upper part of wall, and
the rear wing, of brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond, brick heads
inserted as cambered arches above the ground floor windows. Thatch roof,
tile at the rear. Wide south east front of two storeys three windows, but
conversion to two cottages and the removal of the upper floor at the east
side has resulted in an irregular elevation, with two upper and four lower
windows. Casements. Plain doors, in altered positions. RCHM
