House. Mid C18, mid C19 and C20. Walls of brickwork in Flemish bond,
cement covered. at the front, plinth, 1st floor band. Tile roof, with stone
slates to the lowest course; end stacks panelled (and cemented).
Symmetrical south front elevation of two storeys and attic, five windows,
with a lower service wing at the west side, altered and extended forward.
Sashes in reveals. Doorway with architrave, moulded cornice on brackets,
6-panelled door, above four stone steps. There is a terrace at the front
with a brick retaining wall, and a central flight of six steps to a lower
forecourt, enclosed by walls. Irregular extensions at the rear, of
vernacular form. RCHM
