Purbeck Stone walls and roof. Brick stacks. Two storeys and attics. Modern
single-storey shop extension filling a former recessed forecourt. Original building
L-shaped on plan. The western section adjoins the street, balancing the gable end
of No 2 Bell Street. Ground floor has one double-hung sash window with glazing bars.
One blocked doorway. First floor has 3 double-hung sash windows with glazing bars.
Attic has 3 half-dormers with gabled roofs and double-hung sash windows with glazing
bars. Part of an important group at the junction with Bell Street. RCHM Monument 62.
