Granite memorial,on a square base of rock-faced ashlar,surmounted by a square spire set on four steps.Inscriptions on the four faces are:-One.John Mowlem,March 8,1868,
aged 79 years;Two.John Mowlem;Three.Susannah his wife,November 11,1849,aged 61 years;Four.John Mowlem's Vault.Below this is inscribed:-"H Bisson,Vale,Guernsey". Listed for its historic interest.Note:The Cemetery,now closed,contains a large number of C19 headstones,mostly of Portland Stone.
