Pair of cottages - originally one house. Late C16-early C17 origin, enlarged
in C18, further enlarged and divided in C19. Plastered cob walls on brick
bases, hipped thatched roof, brick stacks. One storey and attics. One ledged
door and one part-glazed door. Ground floor has 5 casement windows with
glazing bars. Attic has remains of dormers with casements with glazing bars.
Large open fireplaces - part blocked - and some exposed ceiling beams.
Under repair at time of survey - 1983. RCHM Monument 24.
