SY 88 NE EAST STOKE WAREHAM ROAD, SOUTH SIDE

10/81 Stockford Lodge

GV II

Small detached cottage. Late C18 - early Cl9. Octagonal plan. Plastered
cob walls; thatched roof; central brick stack. Lean-to extension on west under
thatched catslide roof. One storey and attic. Trellised porch with ledged
door with simple "Gothic" detail. Original windows of 2-lights with simple
"Gothic" tracery and lead lights - some now replaced by casements with
glazing bars. Two dormers in attic. Formerly listed as "Lodge at Stockford
Cottage". RCHM Monument 16.
