Detached house. Late C17 - early C18. Appears to be of 2 builds - the
western section slightly later. Colourwashed brick walls, half-hipped thatched
roof, brick stacks on ridge. One storey and attic. Plastered thatched porch
with ledged door. Ground floor has one casement window with glazing bars
and 3 C20 casements. Attic has 3 ½-dormers with casements with centre
glazing bar. C20 flat-roofed rear extensions. Main ground floor room has
large open fireplace with timber lintol and remains of bread oven. Some
exposed ceiling beams. RCHM Monument 18.
