Detached house. Probably early C18, enlarged on south in late C18 - this
section possibly originally a separate cottage. Plastered walls, hipped thatched
roof. Brick end and centre stacks. 2 storeys. Brick porch with shingled roof
and C20 ledged door. Ground floor has 4 casement windows with centre glazing
bar. First floor has 3 similar windows. C20 garage extension on north, and
rear lean-to with shingled roof. Internally, main ground floor room has large
open fireplace with timber lintol and bread oven. Simple plank and muntin
partition on first floor. RCHM Mbnument 12.
