Public House. Late C18 - early C19 origin, extended in mid C19. Brick walls,
roofs part tiled, part slated, brick centre stack. Original (central) section has
tiled roof. Two storeys. 2 doors, one in brick gabled porch. Ground floor
has 2 casement windows with glazing bars - one retaining old shutters. First
floor has 2 similar windows. Lower single-storey range on south - possibly
former outbuilding, has tiled roof and 3 casement windows with glazing bars.
Later, higher, C19 range on north has slate roof with ornamental bargeboards.
2 casement windows with glazing bars on each floor. Lean-to extension to
north, with slate roof.
