Detached house. Formerly 3 cottages but probably originally one house.
C17 origin - altered and roof raised in C18. Brick walls, slate roof, brick
end and centre stacks. 2 storeys. 2 ledged doors - one in a timber porch
with corrugated iron roof. Ground floor has 4 casement windows with glazing
bars. First floor has 2 similar windows. North-east section - formerly No 78 -
used only for storage - has large open fireplace and deeply chamfered ceiling
beam. Also, in this section, a good early C18 staircase with turned balusters.
Occupied section has large open fireplace - part built up. RCHM Monument 11.
