Detached farmhouse. Late C16 - early C17 origin (RCHM), altered and
enlarged in C18. Brick walls, Tiled roof with stone eaves courses. Gables
with brick copings and kneelers. Brick end and centre stacks. L-shaped plan.
2 storeys and attics. Plat band at first floor level. Main range has doorway
near the projecting wing, in trellised porch with slate lean-to roof. Part-
glazed door. Ground floor has 2 casement windows with glazing bars. First
floor has 3 similar windows. Gable end of projecting wing has 2 C20 french
doors with glazing bars. One small casement window with glazing bars to
attic. Lower single -storey extension on south, with tiled roof. Interior
modernised. RCHM Monument 32.
