Pair of cottages. Probably mid- C19. Brick walls, tiled roofs, brick end and
centre stacks. 2 storeys. No 40 has panelled door in timber gabled porch.
Ground and first floors each have 2 horizontally sliding sash windows with
glazing bars. No 41 has panelled door under flat hood on shaped brackets.
Ground and first floors each have 2 horizontally sliding sash windows with
glazing bars. Lower addition on east has half-hipped roof. Included for
group value.
