Detached farmhouse. Early C17 origin, enlarged late C17 and altered c1837. Brick
and cob walls. Thatched roof. Brick stacks. At right angles to road. Older
section, furthest from road, of one storey and attics. Entrance with ledged door.
Ground floor has three casement windows with glazing bars and one modern metal
casement. Attic has two dormers with casements. Later section, adjoining road, of
two storeys and attics. Entrance with ledged door. Ground floor has one double-
hung sash window with glazing bars and one casement window. First floor has two
casement windows. Attic has one dormer with casements. Gable end to road has a
double-hung sash window with glazing bars on ground floor, and casements on first
and attic floors.
