Detached house. Probably C18 but may be of earlier origin - appears to incorporate
material from the former Priory. Walls of ironstone and limestone rubble. Thatched
roof, brick end stack. One storey and attics. Brick single-storey lean-to at
front, with slate roof - extended to form a glazed porch. Ground floor has one
casement window with glazing bars. Attic has four half-dormers with similar
casements. Single-storey extension to south, of brick - part rendered, with slate
roof. Single-storey extension to north, of brick, with asbestos roof. Two-storeyed
rear extension, of brick, with slate roof. RCHM Monument 3.
