Farm house. Probably late C17 origin, altered and enlarged C19. Stone walls -
plastered on south gable; roofs part stone slates and part tiles, brick stacks.
H-shaped plan. Main front range contains the original house and an added barn to
the north-east. Short rear block links this to a parallel rear range, of
outbuildings. Part two storeys, part two storey and attics. Main elevation has
three cross-gables. Part-glazed panelled door in porch with gabled stone slate
roof. Carved Coat of Arms (Mansel) over door. Ground floor has four
segmental-headed double-hung sash windows with centre glazing bar. First floor has
five similar windows. Attic has three casement windows in gables. Outbuilding
north of main range has stone walls and tiled roof with stone eaves courses. Two
storeys.
Link block rear of main range has plastered walls and slate roof; casement windows.
Outbuilding range at rear consists of granary over store rooms. Stone walls, stone
slate roof, brick stacks. Casement windows. Stone steps to upper storey in both
gable walls.
Internally, in main range, ground floor rooms have chamfered ceiling beams.
Stone boundary wall to lane, with flat stone capping, probably C18.
