Farm house and adjoining barn. Main block late C18-early C19. Plastered walls,
tiled roof with brick dentil cornice at eaves, brick stacks. Two storeys. Panelled
door in glazed C19 porch with tiled roof. Ground floor has two double-hung sash
windows with glazing bars. First floor has three similar windows. This block
extended at rear under catslide roof. Lower wing at rear appears earlier - probably
early C18. Stone walls, tiled roof with stone eaves courses. Elevation to yard has
central ledged door, and double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. East elevation
has two windows with glazing bars on ground floor, and a gabled half-dormer with
double-hung sash.
Barn attached to house on west has stone and brick wall and tiled roof. Front
elevation has double doors and timber windows. Large cart porch entrance at rear
with hipped roof and timber doors. Later lean-tos at rear. Simple tie-beam roof
structure. This barn extended to west in similar construction - stable with hayloft
over.
