Formerly two cottages, Nos 59 and 60. Probably C18. House with attached barn on
east. Plastered cob walls, on stone base, colourwashed, thatched roof, brick
stacks. One storey and attics. Modern porch with tiled lean-to roof. Ground floor
has five metal casement windows with glazing bars. Attic has four half-dormers with
horizontally sliding sashes with centre glazing bar. Barn has unglazed window on
upper floor. Rear extension, of one storey and attic, has brick and stone walls and
thatched roof. Also modern single-storey flat-roofed extensions on south and west.
Internally, one ground floor room has large open fireplace with timber lintel and
bread oven. Other room has similar fireplace, now part built up.
