Organford

Detached farmhouse. Main front range early C19. Rear, kitchen
wing - probably the original house, C18. Main range has plastered
cob walls, hipped slate roof, plastered stacks. 2 storeys. In
Regency style. Semi-circular portico with Tuscan columns and flat
roof. Door with ornamental raised panels, flanked by timber pilasters,
and cornice. Fanlight with bordered glazing. Ground floor has 2
double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. First floor has 3
similar windows. c.1930 garden room on south, in matching
construction. Rear wing has brick walls, part plastered, and
gabled slate roof. Several lean-to additions. Internally, front
range has cut-string stair with ornamental spandrils. Moulded
cornice in one ground floor room. Front range possibly remodelled
from a barn, - evidence of a gap between this and the rear wing.
