GV II

Terrace of 3 (formerly 4) cottages. c1842. Built as coastguard cottages.
Brick walls, plastered, slate roofs with battlemented parapet, brick stacks
along ridge. 2 storeys. Projecting piers at each end rising above parapet.
In centre, a slightly projecting and raised section. 2 battlemented porches
each with 2 ledged doors. Ground floor has 5 sash windows with vertical
glazing bars. First floor has 5 similar windows and 2 blank windows above
porches. A National Trust property. RCHM Monument 3 (Dorset Vol. II).
