GV II

Semi-detached cottage (attached to Ivy Cottage, q.v.) of 2 builds. Left-hand
section probably C18 - a former smithy, of one storey. Right-hand section
probably C19, of 2 storeys. Rubble stone walls, stone slate roof, plastered
end and centre stacks. Left-hand section has stable door. Ground floor has one
fixed window with cast iron glazing bars. Hipped dormer with casements. Right-hand
section has ledged door in timber porch. Ground and first floors each have one
casement window with glazing bars. Lower rear extension in matching construction.
Under repair at time of survey - (1974). RCHM Monument 10 (Dorset Vol II).
