Semi-detached cottage. Late C16 (RCHM). Rubble stone walls, stone slate roof,
brick stack near centre. One storey and attic. Later extension on right, probably
C18, in matching construction. Ledged door under simple canopy. Ground floor has
2 casements with horizontal glazing bars. Attic has one hipped dormer with similar
casements. (RCHM, Monument 58. Dorset. Vol. II). A National Trust property.
