Semi-detached cottage -(attached to No. 158 (q.v.). Late C18. Coursed rubble stone
walls, stone slate roof, brick end stacks. 2 storeys. Single-storey outbuilding
extension at left end, in matching constructions, with ledged door. In main house,
C20 glazed door under segmental arch. Ground floor has 2 casements with horizontal
glazing bars under similar arches. 2 similar windows on first floor. Included for
group value. (RCHM, Monument 58. Dorset. Vol. II). A National Trust property.
