wall to road.
GV II
Detached cottage. C18. Rubble stone walls, thatched roof, hipped at left end,
brick stack at right end. At right angles to road. One storey and attic.
Gabled porch with stone slate roof and ledged door. Ground floor has one casement
with centre horizontal bar and one pivoted window. Attic has two 1/2 dormers with
centre horizontal bar. C20 single-storey extension at left end, with corrugated
asbestos roof and C20 part-glazed door. Catslide roof at rear over extension.
Internally, some exposed ceiling beams. Boundary wall to road of rubble stone,
with cock and hen coping. (RCHM, Monument 57. Dorset. Vol. II).
