Detached cottage. C18. Rubble stone walls, stone slate roof, brick stack at
right end. 2 storeys. At right angles to road. Part glazed door, and a ledged
door at left end. Ground floor has 2 casements with horizontal glazing bars.
First floor has 2 casements with glazing bars. Single-storey rear lean-to under
catslide roof. Rubble stone boundary wall to road, with cock and hen coping.
A National Trust property. (RCHM, Monument 56. Dorset. Vol. II).
