Detached cottage. Date plaque on front, 1710. Plastered cob walls, thatched roof
brick end stacks. 2 storeys. Stable door under open timber thatched porch.
Ground floor has 4 casements with centre horizontal glazing bar. First floor has
3 casements, 2 with similar-glazing and one with remains of lead lights. Small
outbuilding at rear now linked to house has cob walls on stone base-and hipped
thatched roof. (RCHM, Monument 168. Dorset. Vol II).
