Detached cottage. c1700 (RCHM). Rubble stone walls, stone slate roof, ashlar
stack at left end, brick stack at right end. At right angles to road. 2 storeys.
Small single-storey rear lean-to. Ledged door in C20 timber porch. Ground floor
has 2 casements with horizontal glazing bars. First floor has one casement with
glazing bars and one horizontally sliding sash with remains of lead lights. Gable
end to road has one fixed window on first floor. (RCHM, Monument 98. Dorset.
Vol. II). A National Trust Property
