gates, 45 metres
south-west of
Biddick Hall

Pair of gates with side panels. Early C18. Wrought-iron. Gates: double
rails at bottom, middle and top infilled by small scrolls; panels between
rails and crests have delicate, bifurcated scrolls with foliage motifs; taller
meeting bar has urn finial with gadrooning. Narrow flanking panels with
similar scroll and foliage motifs.
