Gate piers and garden wall. Mid-late C18. Narrow hand-made brick in irregular
English garden wall bond. Wall has stone coping; piers have stone bases and
caps. Pair of c.3.5-metre tall gate piers, with moulded bases and corniced
caps, near north return of house. Tall wall, with projecting flat coping,
runs east for c.30 metres. Similar short section of wall links piers to house.
Included for group value. Partly-rebuilt continuation of wall at right-angles
beyond east end is not of special interest.
