Gate piers, with gates and overthrow, and stile. Early C18 piers, C19 stile,
mid C19 overthrow and early C20 gates. Dressed sandstone piers and stile,
iron overthrow and wood gates. Pair of tall, square-plan piers have low
plinths and entablatures with deep cornices. Added ogee caps on chamfered
bases with ball finials. Finial of right pier is missing. Large stile, of
5 steps on both sides of opening in churchyard wall, has curving side walls
with gabled coping. Arched overthrow with simple scrollwork supports spherical
glass lamp. 2-leaf gates with barley-sugar bars. Flanking churchyard wall
is not of special interest.
