Pair of houses. Early-mid C18 with C19 fenestration. Pebble-dashed rubble,
old pantiled roof and rebuilt brick chimney stack. 2 storeys; each house 2
bays with No. 10 at right. Continuous plinth. End doorways with replaced
doors under rendered wedge lintels. Arched boot-scraper recess to left of
No. 11. 16-pane sashes, some replaced. Openings have wedge lintels and
projecting sills, some renewed in concrete. First-floor windows set immediately
under eaves. Blank bay above door of No. 11. Continuous steeply-pitched roof
with swept eaves and tall central ridge stack. C20 rear additions not of
interest. Nos. 1 to 12 (consecutive) form a continuous row.
