Walls surrounding 4 sides of 85- x 65-metre rectangular paddock. Probably C17
but altered and partly rebuilt. Coursed sandstone rubble. 2.0- to 2.5-metre
high walls with roughly-shaped triangular coping stones set on edge. South-
west wall has battered buttress near west corner and has been partly demolished
near centre and replaced by the brick wall of a C20 farmbuilding. South-east
wall is partly broken down near south corner. North-east wall has regularly-
spaced 0.5-metre high slits near ground level (possibly for drainage) and a
worn stone doorway with chamfered jambs near north corner. Foundations of 2
sides of a small rectangular building at north corner. Included for group
value. Farmbuildings on outer face of south-west wall are not of special
interest.
