II
House. Late C17 with C19 alterations. Painted incised render on rubble and
brick. Welsh slate roofs with rebuilt brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3
bays. Central boarded door and margined overlight in doorcase with hood on
consoles. Small canted bay windows, with replaced sashes and hipped roofs,
in outer bays. 3 replaced sashes above, with projecting stone sills. Stepped
eaves courses. Steeply-pitched roof with swept eaves and end stacks. Added
2-storey rear outshut. Interior: wide fireplace with moulded cambered fire
beam in ground-floor room at right; large chamfered ceiling beams with run-out
stops on ground and first floors; 2-panel doors, some with I-L hinges; dogleg
staircase with replaced balusters and handrail.
