House, formerly right wing of The Manor House. Early C18 with C19 alterations.
Narrow, hand-made brick in irregular English garden wall bond, painted white
on front and pebble-dashed on rear. Ridged concrete roof tiles and rebuilt
brick chimney stack. 2 storeys, 3 bays with double band between storeys.
Partly-glazed, 6-panel door at left in moulded stone surround with frieze
and cornice. 4-pane sashes, with intermediate glazing bars removed, in C19
openings with flush lintels and projecting sills. Projecting course at eaves.
Steeply-pitched roof with right end stack. 2-storey gabled stair-wing on
centre rear has a 12-pane sash with thick glazing bars. Added 2-storey
outshut with single-storey lean-to extension on right rear. Interior: one
ground-floor room with early C18 panelling. 6-panel doors in wood architraves
on ground floor. 5-panel doors in panelled reveals on first floor. Cut-string,
open-well staircase, of 3 flights plus landing rail, has 2 turned balusters
per tread and a square-sectioned, ramped and wreathed handrail.
