Guide-post. Probably late C19. Cast iron. Tapered round post. c.3.5 metres
high, with top moulding and onion finial. 2 indicator plates, with straight
top edge and quadrant curve to lower edge, have low relief TO DURHAM & RAINTON
and TO HIGH PITTINGTON & LITTLETOWN, and are attached to flanges by square-
headed bolts.
A prominent feature in the streetscape.
