and attached outuilding

Farmhouse and outbuilding. Mid C18; restored c.1980. Coursed sandstone rubble,
renewed pantiled roofs and rebuilt brick chimneys. 2-storey, symmetrical 3-bay
farmhouse has roughly-shaped quoins and central, replaced 6-panel door in flush
stone surround. Replaced windows have concrete lintels and some original stone
sills: paired 12-pane sashes to left of door; 16-pane sashes elsewhere.
Steeply-pitched roof has raised verges with reversed, crowstepped gables and
end chimneys. One-storey former byre, attached to left, has late C20 paired
casements. Roof is hipped to left. Farmhouse has one-storey rear outshut with
replaced fenestration.
