Substantial house. Circa 1700 with mid C19 rear additions and refenestration.
Coursed sandstone rubble with rendered left return. Renewed Welsh slate roof
and rebuilt brick chimneys. 2-storey, 6-bay front has flush quoins. Bolection-
moulded door surround, in third bay, has steep, open and broken pediment with
worn cartouche in tympanum; C19 9-panel door. 12-pane sashes with projecting
sills and flush, tooled-and-margined lintels. Blocked window above door.
Steeply-pitched roof has slightly-swept eaves, coped gable parapets, shaped
kneelers and end chimneys. Parallel rear wing has central ridge chimney with
four C19 ornamental chimneypots.

Interior. Early C18 open-well, closed-string staircase, of 6 flights plus top
landing rail, has bulbous turned balusters and a square-section handrail with
grip top. Roof has heavy principal rafters embedded into walls.
