High Houghall farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Probably early C17 with alterations. Large rubble sandstone, roughly
coursed and squared, with larger quoins. Roof renewed in asbestos sheet.
Runs north from rear of hind's cottage. One storey, 4 bays. Elevation facing
east onto farmyard has flat-Tudor-arched surround to door at right; thin wood
lintel at door at left; west elevation has widened vehicle entrance; 2
triangular ventilation holes and one slit.
