Building of C17 appearance with alterations. L-shaped, 2-storeys and attic on
south front. Walls partly of rubble stone, partly brick. Massive projecting stone
chimney on north front. Windows mostly C18 sashes but one 2-light stone-mullioned
window with hoodmould remains. High pitched pantiled roofs have stone coped gable
ends with kneelers. Later gabled porch to east.
