5/92 Farmbuildings attached
to west of Alwent Hall

Barn and loose-boxes. Early-mid C19. Sandstone rubble with dressed quoins;
pantiled roofs; barn has double course of sandstone flags at eaves. L-plan.

2-storey,5-bay barn has double row of breathers and a first-floor, Dutch door
to rear.

Building attached to rear (now used as loose-boxes but possibly a former horse-
gin): single storey; left return has C20 vehicle opening; right return has
single hit-and-miss window; both returns have stout central piers; rear gable
probably rebuilt. Included for group value.

Detached farmbuildings to left not of special interest.
