NZ 11 NE HEADLAM COCK LANE
(North side, off)

6/7 Walled garden adjoining
to north of-Hill House

Garden walls to north, east and west. Possibly early C19. Sandstone rubble
brought to course. North wall about 40 metres long and 2 metres high has pair
of centrally-placed, mid C20 wrought-iron gates. East and west walls, about
30 metres long and 1.5 metres high, are ramped at junctions with north wall.
West-wall has ten small, square--openings with dressed jambs, lintels and sills;
openings probably contained heating apparatus.
